1.先用水洗薏米。扁豆茶包不需冲洗。
2.把薏米与扁豆茶包放进适当的水量中：
a) 小包： 约3饭碗的水量 600ml
b) 中包： 约7-8饭碗的水量 1400-1600ml
c) 大包 ：约16饭碗的水量 3200ml
3.用大火把水煮开后，转为小火煮20分钟。
4.常温服用。
5.喂乳婴孩可用扁豆薏米水混奶粉喝。
Barley water
1.Rinse the barley before use. The tea pack need not be rinsed.
2.Place the barley and the tea pack in the suitable amount of water below
a)Small packet: Approx. 3 bowls of water (600ml)
b)Medium packet: Approx. 7-8 bowls of water (1400ml-1600ml)

3.After the mixture comes to a boil, simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
4.Allow to cool before drinking.
5.Use the mixture in place of water if the child is on milk formula.

1. 把无花果剪开。
2. 把约6饭碗(1200ml)的水倒入锅中。
3. 随医师指示加入苹果或梨。
4. 把所有材料加入，并开大火煮开。
5. 沸腾后，转为小火煮1小时。
6. 煮时必须将锅盖拿开。
Fig and Fritillaria Cough Remedy
1.Cut open the figs.
2.Pour 6 bowls (1200ml) of water into a pot.
3.Add apples or Chinese pears according to physician’s instructions.
4.Put the rest of the ingredients in and allow the mixture to come to a boil.
5.Simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
6.Do not cover the pot with a lid during cooking.

1.把药材放入锅中.
2.倒入约16饭碗的水(3200ml).
3.加入一只黑鸡.
4.大火煮开后转小火煮30分钟.
个人喝
1.把药材放入锅中.
2.倒入约2-3饭碗的水(400-600ml).
3.加入一只黑鸡腿肉.
4.大火煮开后转小火煮成一碗分量.
5.把煮好的汤倒出.
6.再添约2-3饭碗的水量入锅中, 再煮成一碗分量.
7.把两碗煮好的汤混合,再分两碗,早晚各服一次.
Bazhen Soup
For the whole family
1.Put the herbs in a pot or slow cooker
2.Pour in 16 bowls (3200ml) of water.
3.Add a whole black chicken
4.Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Individual consumption
1.Put the herbs in a pot or slow cooker
2.Pour in 2-3 bowls (400-600ml) of water.
3.Add a black chicken drumstick (optional)
4.Bring to a boil and reduce on low heat to 200ml
5.Pour out the mixture into another bowl
6.Add another 2-3 bowls of water and reduce as in steps 4.
7.Mix the 2 reduced mixture together and drink one bowl once in the morning and once at night.

七星茶
1. 把药材浸泡在约5碗水（约1000ml）的锅中30分钟。
2. 用大火把水煮开后，转为小火煮30分钟。
3.加入适量的黑糖温服。
4. 剩下的七星茶可冰箱储藏约3天。
Qi Xing Cha
1. Soak the herbs in 5 bowls of water (1l) in a pot for 30 minutes.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
3. Add black sugar to taste and drink warm.
4. Refrigerate any leftovers and consume within 3 days.
Instructions for Herbal bath:

Soak the herbs
in a pot for 30 minutes

to boil and let it simmer for 1 hour

Let the
medicine cool
4.
Before
application, please bathe with soap and water.

Bathe with the
herbal concoction
6.
Rinse with water.
The bag can be used twice a day
for infants and once a day for older children.
Add water if needed but it is
recommended to use it straight from the pot.

4. 把两碗加在一起，分六次服用.
